Thurbert P. "Rusty"Hall, Jr.

     Mr. Thurbert P. “Rusty” Hall, Jr., age 59, of Valley, Alabama passed away on Thursday, November 12th, 2020 at the Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange, Georgia. He was born on January 11th, 1961 in Ashland, Alabama.

     Mr. Hall is survived by his children, Michelle VanHook, Thurbert “Rusty” (Robin) Hall, Thurbert “Chris” Hall, Melissa Hall, Laura (Randy) Keafer, and Amanda Hall; his grandchildren, Jessica, Jason, Christian, Constance, J.T., Olivia, Anthony, Selena, Noah, David, Alisa, Desi, Hayden, Jordan, Harmony, and Jason; several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

     He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Sue (Dean) Berry; father and stepmother, Thurbert P. (Betty) Hall, Sr.; sisters, Carolyn Sturkie, Flora Hall, and Vada Johns; brother, David Hall; nephew, Robert T. Sorrell, Jr.

     Mr. Hall was of the Christian faith. He was a very outgoing person who enjoyed visiting with people. He never met a stranger. He was a thrill seeker who enjoyed going on adventures. Known by his close friends as “Thumper”, when he would arrive at a gathering he would give a loud rooster call. He had a very giving heart and liked to make sure everyone was having a good time. He adored his family and loved to spend time with his grandchildren.

     Due to social gathering restrictions funeral services will be private.
