Ronnie Edmondson Obituary

Ronnie Edmondson, known affectionately as Ronnie to his friends and family, passed away peacefully on April 17, 2024, in Valley, Alabama. Born on February 8, 1950, in Wedowee, Alabama, Ronnie's life was characterized by his friendly nature, his handy skills, and his intelligent approach to every challenge he faced.

Ronnie's early years in Wedowee laid a strong foundation for the man he would become. He was a positive factor in the lives of those who knew him, always ready with a helping hand or a kind word. His mechanical skills were well-known in the community, and he took great pride in his ability to fix just about anything. Ronnie's work history was a testament to his talent and his dedication to his craft.

Family was the cornerstone of Ronnie's life. He is survived by his loving sons, Jody Edmondson and his wife Tammy, and Cody Edmondson and his wife Crystal. His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Brady Edmondson and his wife Bailey, and Chase Edmondson, who will miss their grandfather's wisdom and warmth. Ronnie's sister, Carol Scott, along with a host of nieces and nephews, will fondly remember the joy and laughter he brought to family gatherings.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Homer Edmondson and Burty Foster, and his siblings, D. H. Edmondson, Doyle Edmondson, and Peggy Sanders. The memories they shared will continue to be cherished by all who knew them.

An avid outdoorsman, Ronnie loved to hunt and was a proud member of the Fredonia Hunting Club. His passion for the outdoors was only matched by the companionship of his loyal dog, Goose, who was often by his side as they rode around the countryside. These simple pleasures brought Ronnie immense joy and provided him with a sense of peace and contentment.

Those who had the pleasure of knowing Ronnie will remember him as a man who was not only friendly and handy but also incredibly intelligent. His ability to solve problems and his willingness to lend a hand were just a few of the qualities that made him such a special individual.

Ronnie's passing leaves a void in the hearts of his family and friends, but his spirit will live on through the stories they share and the memories they hold dear. His life was a beautiful tapestry of love, hard work, and dedication to those he held close to his heart. Ronnie Edmondson will be deeply missed, but his impact on the world will be felt for generations to come.
