Pearline S. Taunton

     Mrs. Pearline S. Taunton, age 77, of Huguley, Alabama passed away on Sunday, October 17th, 2021 at home surrounded by her family. She was born on September 18th, 1944 in Rocky Mount, Georgia to the late John Will Hayes and Alma King.

     Mrs. Taunton is survived by her children, Linda (Scott) Templeton, Debbie (Tim) Bunn, Patti (Shane) McConnell, and Chris (Lisa) Taunton; fifteen grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren, thirteen great-great grandchildren; brothers, Cullen (Brenda) King and Roy (Deborah) King; sister, Willene (Ricky) Olson.

     She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Johnny Taunton; sons, Dusty Taunton and Tim Taunton; brothers, Willie Ray, James Hayes, and Jerry Dingler, and Danny King.

     Mrs. Taunton loved flowers, working in her garden, cooking, and fishing. She enjoyed travelling with her family, especially to the mountains. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

     Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 21st, 2021 at 2:00 PM (EDT) at Happy Valley Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Cemetery. Pastor John Samanie and Pastor Donnie Shelton will officiate. Mrs. Taunton’s family will receive friends Thursday afternoon from 1:00 PM (EDT) until the service hour at the church.
