Patsy Joyce Clanton

Patsy Joyce Clanton, age 72, of Lanett, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, December 2^nd, 2020 at her residence.

Mrs. Clanton was born in Langdale, Alabama on March 24^th, 1948 to the late William T. Clark and Pauline Lipham Clark. 

She was also preceded in death by a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Gary Clanton, and Kathy Clanton.

Mrs. Clanton was a member of the Huguley United Methodist Church.  She was an incredibly talented piano player and played for the church for over 40 years.

She was very family oriented and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband James “Larry” Clanton; daughter, Hope E. Butler; brother, Randall (Glenda) Clark; grandchildren, Thea (Anson) Butler, Mary Alicia (Adam) Owsley, Tessa (John) Dunn; great-grandchildren, Mylee Owsley, Grady Owsley, Fynlee Owsley, Emmett Owsley; brother-in-law, Jerald Clanton and his wife, Nancy; sister-in-law, Barbara Yarbrough and her husband, Wayne.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 4^th, 2020 at 2:00P.M. EST at the Huguley United Methodist Church with interment following in Resthaven Cemetery.  The Reverend Rusty Williams officiating. Her family will be receiving friends at the church one hour prior to the service on Friday.  Social distancing guidelines should be followed and masks will be required.
