Nathan Joe Ammons Obituary

     Nathan Joe Ammons, 18, of Valley, Alabama passed away on Sunday, June 13th, 2021 in Valley. He was born on February 17th, 2003 in Valley.

     Nathan is survived by his mother, Brandi (Calvin) Nix; sisters, Morgan Ammons, Jenna Ammons, Gaby Ammons, Calli Nix, and Tanner Liles; grandparents, Michael Joe Barron and Gina Baron; aunt, Cassi Lea Barron; cousins, Maverick Todd Smith, Ellie Deann Smith, Cruz Smith, Georgia Rose Barron, Henry Barron, and Avalea Rain Thomas; great aunts and uncles, Beverly and David Welch and Kim and Jon Strother; numerous other loving family members.

     He was preceded in death by his father, Jaime Lee Ammons; great grandmothers, Frances Barron and Joye Wallace.

     Nathan was a smart and kind-hearted person with a great sense of humor who always seemed to be smiling. He was of the Christian faith. He liked helping others and if he ever noticed something wrong he always tried to fix it. He was an avid baseball player who enjoyed fishing, swimming, working out, and watching the Alabama Crimson Tide.

     Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 18th, 2021 at 3:00 PM (EST) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley. Interment will follow in Johnson Memorial Gardens. The Reverend Tim Campbell will officiate. The family will receive friends, Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM (EST) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley.
