Mrs. Shirley Ann Williams Hitson, 85, a resident of LaGrange, GA passed away Thursday, October 15, 2020 at West Georgia Hospice in LaGrange. A private graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at 2:00 PM EST at Johnson Memorial Gardens in Valley, AL. A private visitation will be held on Sunday from 1:00 -1:45 PM EST at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley. Those attending are asked to observe the CDC & ADPH guidelines regarding the use of mask and social distancing.

Mrs. Hitson was born in Louisville, KY on October 10, 1935 and was a retired physical therapy assistant.

Survivors include her brothers, Charles E. Williams (Evelyn) & Robert L. Williams (Sally); son, Robert A. Hitson; grandchildren, Leah Cater, Royce DeShouten, Christina Estes (Chris), Ashley Tooker (Danny) & Nicholas Whaley; 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett C. Williams & Ruby Mae Paris Williams; her brothers, Leo D. Williams (Louise), Kenneth E. Williams (Pricilla Ann); a sister, Alma F. Adams (Don); her husband, Herbert A. Hitson; daughters, Sandra Cater & Candace Striblin; her son, Howard Hitson and a granddaughter, Paris Bailey Hitson.
