Mrs. Antonie Anna Clack, of Valley, formerly of Columbus, Georgia passed away on Sunday, July 5th, 2020 at her daughter’s residence.
Mrs. Clack was born in Euerbach, Germany on March 7th, 1935 to the late Ludwig Hummler and Karolina Hummler. She was also preceded in death by her husband Horace Clack.
Mrs. Clack was a member of the Concord Baptist Church in Salem, Alabama.
She was an excellent cook whose homemade baked pies were one of her signature creations.
She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Her flowers in the spring and throughout the year always brought her great joy to watch them grow and to nurture them.
She is survived by her children, Patricia Allen; Gary Clack; Brendalee Hobbs; siblings, Gisela Dellert, Anita Dinkel, Wilhelm Hummler, Hilde Parvis; grandchildren, Ashton Smith, Benjamin Allen, Dustin Hobbs, Karolina Taylor; great-grandchildren, Madison Taylor, Tanner Taylor, Daiden Hobbs, Tristen Smith; her two dogs, Doodle Bug and Scrappy.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 11th, 2020 at 2:00P.M. EDT at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home chapel in Valley with interment in Fairfax Cemetery. Her family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6:00 P.M. EDT until 8:00 P.M. EDT.
