Mr. Frank Eugene Conort, Jr.

Frank Eugene Conort, Jr., born March 4, 1944, in Atlanta, Georgia went home to be with his Lord and Savior on September 7, 2020.  

He is survived by his adoring wife of 56 years, Deanna Raines Conort, son Timothee’ Conort (spouse, Erin), daughter Nicole Conort Daniel (spouse, David), son Johnathan Conort, and daughter Leah Conort, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.  Sister Mary Conort Cooper, nieces and nephews.

Frank was a graduate of Auburn University holding a BS and a BA in business and accounting.  He was a member of the Elite Auburn Rifle team and fraternity Delta Upsilon (DU).  He worked for the Georgia State Health Department and retired from Clayton County Water Authority after 32 years.  Frank’s three greatest loves in life were his Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ, his family, and fishing.  He lived his entire life as a man of integrity.  Proverbs 20:7 “The just man walketh in his integrity, his children are blessed after him.”

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 10th, 2020 at 2:00P.M. EDT at the Valley Baptist Church with the Reverend Nathan Lawrence officiating.  The family will be receiving friends at the church on Thursday from 12:00p.m. EDT until the service hour.  Interment will follow in Resthaven Cemetery.
