Marcus A. Godfrey Obituary

Marcus A. Godfrey, age 66, of Cusseta, Alabama passed away on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at the Bethany House in Auburn, Alabama.

Marcus was born on July 7, 1955, in West Point, Georgia to the late Orren Lee Godfrey and Catherine Clifton Godfrey.

He loved to be on the backwaters of Lake Harding where he enjoyed fishing and the outdoors.

He was a talented handyman who was skilled in carpentry and painting. He owned and operated Marty’s Painting Company.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at 11:00A.M. EST at the Gray Hill Baptist Church cemetery in West Point, Georgia. The Reverend Rusty Letson officiating. There is no visitation planned at this time.

Marcus is survived by his siblings Judy (Alan) Coleman, Marie Godfrey, and Lee Godfrey; many extended family members and friends.
