Larry Lee Skipper

     Larry Lee Skipper, a loving husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully at the age of 65 on March 26, 2023, in Valley, Alabama. Born on June 25, 1957, in Carrolton, Georgia, Larry was known for his adventurous spirit, infectious laughter, and love for his family and friends.

     Larry is survived by his devoted wife, Cindy Skipper; his beloved daughter, Ashley Skipper; his siblings, Carol Whited and Keith Skipper; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends. Larry's furbabies, Gandalph, Prissy, and Chini, will also miss his warm presence dearly. He was predeceased by his parents and a son, Craig Skipper.

     After graduating from Lagrange High School, Larry continued his education at Lagrange College, where he earned a master's degree in business. He then went on to work in quality control for Kleen-Tex Industries in Lagrange, Georgia, for 25 years. Larry's dedication to his work was evident through his commitment to excellence and his lasting relationships with his colleagues.

     Larry was a fun-loving person who never missed an opportunity to bring joy into the lives of those around him. He was an avid reader, often losing himself in the pages of a good book. His love for the great outdoors inspired many camping trips and adventures with his family and friends. Music played an essential role in Larry's life, and he could often be found tapping his feet or humming along to his favorite tunes.

     As a hot pepper "connoisseur," Larry enjoyed sampling new peppers, spicy foods and sharing his love for fiery flavors with others.

     His extended family and friends will remember Larry as a kind, funny, and adventurous soul who made a lasting impact on their lives.

     A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, March 31st, 2023, at 2:00P.M. EDT at the Faith Temple Family Worship Center in Lanett, Alabama. Larry’s family will be receiving friends at the church on Friday from 1:00P.M. EDT until 2:00P.M. EDT. Friends and family are encouraged to come together to share stories, laughter, and fond memories of a man who touched the lives of so many.

     Larry Lee Skipper will be dearly missed by all who knew him, but his vibrant spirit, infectious laughter, and unwavering love will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
