Mr. Glenn Eugene Kelley, age 79, of Opelika, Alabama passed away at his residence on Saturday, January 16, 2021.

Mr. Kelley was born on October 15, 1941 in Rome, Georgia to the late Albert Adkins Kelley and Lola Mae Lashley Johnson.  He was also preceded in death by his brother Bobby Lee Kelley.

Glenn was a family man who loved and valued his family relationships.  His family and friends described him as a nurturing man, an optimistic man who always found the good in life, and a hard-working man with a strong work ethic.  He always kept his family laughing.

Glenn was a humble, grateful, and amazing man who lived his life and did not let his life live him.  He was strong, but soft.  To know Glenn was to love him.  He had a kind soul and there will never be another man like him.

He was a talented musician and songwriter.  He loved playing the guitar and enjoyed most genres of music including old country and gospel.

Glenn is survived by his significant other, Carroll Craven; children, Angela Kelley Smith, Moore, OK, Brenda Kelley Lumpkin, Tallapoosa, GA, Marsha Kelley Smith, Newnan, GA, Elwyn Eugene Kelley, Newnan, GA; sisters, Mildred Langley, Valley, AL, Barbara Carmack, Lanett, AL; grandchildren, Jessie Butler, Carrollton, GA, Nicholas Smith, Oklahoma City, OK, Stacia Moon, TAFB Midwest City, OK, Justin Butler, Tallapoosa, GA, Jared Smith, Moore, OK, Hunter Kimbrell, Tallapoosa, GA, Bryanna Kelley, Tallapoosa, GA, Elizabeth Kelley, Tallapoosa, GA, Christian Walls, Newnan, GA; eight great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 3:00P.M. EST at Langdale Cemetery.
