Francis Reaves

Francis Reaves, age 89, of Valley passed away on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at the Bethany House in Auburn.

Mrs. Reaves was born in Roanoke, Alabama on January 14, 1932 to the late Jepp Langley and Lillian Smith Langley.

Mrs. Reaves retired from the West Point Stevens Company where she had worked in several different mills during her career.  After retirement, she went to work at the Piggly Wiggly in Lanett as a food representative server. 

She was a very sociable lady and was a member of the Pine Forest Church.  She loved sewing and monogramming. 

Mrs. Reaves is survived by her sons, Byron "Bubba" Daniel, Johnny Daniel, Terry Reaves; siblings, J.W. Langley, Frankie Langley; grandchildren, Tammy Miles, Bryant Daniel, Ambre Knight, Chet Reaves, Jessica Ledford, Chris Daniel; several great grandchildren; and her dog, Gizmo. 

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 2:00P.M. EDT at Hillcrest Cemetery in Lanett. There is no visitation planned at this time.
