Frances Lee Bryan Coulter Obituary

Frances Lee Bryan Coulter, a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2023, in Auburn, Alabama. Born on August 19, 1947, in West Point, Georgia, to the late Mattie Lee Heptinstall Bryan and Henry Elbert Bryan, Frances was known for her kindness, thoughtfulness, and unwavering love for her family.

Frances was a dedicated homemaker, always ensuring that her family was well taken care of and her home was filled with warmth and love. She was the proud mother of four children, Kevin Coulter (Heather), David Coulter (Sandi), Jason Coulter, and Ale Coulter. Frances cherished her role as a grandmother to Madi Throckmorton (Kenzie), Harrison Coulter (Abbey), Kelsey Tyree (Mike), Theron Coulter (Kimberly), Benjamin Coulter, Noah Coulter, and Savannah Coulter. She also welcomed four step-grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, with three more on the way, and five step great-grandchildren into her loving embrace.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ocie Coulter, Jr., son, Christopher Brian Coulter; grandson, David Scott Coulter; sister, Annie Jo Bryan Mason; and brother, Donald Wayne Bryan.

Frances had a passion for gardening, creating beautiful landscapes that attracted birds and butterflies, especially hummingbirds, which she adored. Her love for the outdoors extended to traveling and camping, where she enjoyed exploring new places and spending quality time with her family. Frances was also a talented baker, delighting her loved ones with delicious treats that will be fondly remembered and deeply missed.

A woman of strong faith, Frances was an active member of Beulah Baptist Church, where she found solace and strength in her spiritual journey. Her unwavering faith was an inspiration to those who knew her, and her kindness and thoughtfulness touched the lives of many.

Frances will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who always put her family first. Her gentle spirit and warm heart will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
