Cynthia Key Higgins

     Mrs. Cynthia Key Higgins, age 55, of Valley, Alabama passed away on Saturday, February 22nd, 2020 in Opelika, Alabama. She was born on September 29th, 1964 in Atlanta, Georgia.

     She is survived by her husband, Charles H. Higgins, Jr; sons, Gunnar Sanders and Daniel Higgins; one grandchild who is on the way; future daughters, Laura Meredith and Madison Cofield; parents, Robert and Sarah Key; siblings, Robert (Cheryl) Key, Jr., Wanda (Ben) Hewitt, and Dana (Cam) McHargue; aunt, Harriet Wadkins; four nieces and two nephews; a host of great nieces and great nephews; special sister, Becky Nelson; numerous loving family members.

     Mrs. Higgins was a member of The Bridge Church in Cusseta, Alabama. She was a true Christian and an inspiration and best friend to all she met. She was an avid NASCAR and Alabama football fan. She was the best wife and mother one could want.

     A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th, 2020 at 7:00 PM (EST) at the Bridge Church in Cusseta. Pastor Bill Bryan will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 PM (EST) until the service hour at the church.
