Bruce Lashley Obituary

     Mr. Bruce Lashley, age 65, of Valley, Alabama passed away on Saturday, April 17th, 2021 at Bethany House in Auburn, Alabama. He was born on September 17th, 1955 in Fort Benning, Georgia.

     Mr. Lashley was preceded in death by his father, William Henry Lashley. He is survived by his mother, Doris Colley Lashley of Valley; sisters, Babs Greene of Madison, Georgia and Tina Martin of Phenix City, Alabama; nephews, Hunter Greene and Cody Greene; nieces, Amber Owens and Mallori Martin.

     Mr. Lashley attended West End Baptist Church where he was very active. He was a graduate of Kendrick High School in Columbus, Georgia. He worked for many years as a diesel mechanic. He enjoyed participating in the Senior Olympics and was a big University of Alabama fan. He loved fishing, canoeing, traveling, and his dog Rex.

     A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April, 20th, 2021 at 11:00 AM (EST) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley. Brother Don Downs will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday morning from 10:30 AM (EST) until the service hour at the funeral home.
