Betty June Price Majors, 77, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2020.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Majors, her parents, Gordon and Mary Murphy Price, her sister, Alice Price Harper, and two nephews, Gerald Mark Harper, and Jeffery Harper.

She is survived by her niece, Angela Harper Goodwin (Chuck), two great-nieces Candace Goodwin Yarbrough (Travis), and Carmen Goodwin Scroggins (Josh), a great-great-niece Hanley Grace Yarbrough and a great-great-nephew Jackson Owen Yarbrough.  She is also survived by her husband’s family of which she was a beloved member, Nita Abney, David Majors, Allen Majors (Pat), Carolyn Pritchard, Shirley (Barney) Austin, and Stevie (Gail) Majors. Twelve nieces and nephews, twenty-six great-nieces and nephews, and several great-great-nieces and nephews. And her beloved dog, Curly.

June was a devoted wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. And a most beloved teacher in the Chambers County area for over 25 years. After retirement, she enjoyed volunteering at Lanier Memorial Hospital. She touched many lives in both her career and personal life.

She was a member of the First Christian Church of Lanett.  June had a beautiful voice and loved to sing.  She used her voice often to glorify God.

The service will be private, graveside only due to the restrictions of COVID-19.  Reverend Chuck Goodwin officiating.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the First Christian Church of Lanett, Alabama.
