Sara Estelle McClain

     Miss Sara Estelle McClain, age 86, of Valley, AL passed away on Thursday, December 13th, 2018 at her residence. She was born on March 31st, 1932 in Liberty Hill, GA.

     Miss McClain is survived by her sister, Brenda McClain of Valley, AL; her special fur baby cat, Thomas; her three nieces, Barbara Tucker and Betty (Joe) Ferrell, both of St. Augustine, FL and Bonita Bice of Lanett, AL; her nephew, Lee (Cathy) Tucker; her three great nephews, Rick Floyd of LaGrange, GA, Caleb Tucker of Lanett, AL and Justin Bice of Hammond, LA; her three great nieces, Jill Ray of Valley, AL, Cindy Bargar of Columbus, OH, and Tina Bouchard of St. Augustine, FL; several great-great nieces and nephews.

     She was preceded in death by her parents, Lois and Eugene McClain; her two brothers, Richard McClain and Gene McClain; her sister, Lera McClain Tucker; her brother-in-law, Alva Lee Tucker, Sr.

     Miss McClain was a member of the First Baptist Church of Shawmut. She retired from West Point Pepperell after 43 years of service. She was a very loving and giving person.

     Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 15th, 2018 at 2:00 PM (EST) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley. Interment will follow in Johnson Memorial Gardens. The Reverend Chuck Anderson will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
