Mrs. Dorothy Christine Campbell Obituary

Mrs. Dorothy Christine Campbell, age 84, of Valley, Alabama passed away on Monday, February 18^th, 2019 at her residence.

Mrs. Campbell was born in Chilton County, Alabama on August 17^th, 1934 to the late Maggie Elizabeth Lawhorn Maddox and Thomas Maxwell Maddox.

She was a member of the Fairview Baptist Church.

Mrs. Campbell enjoyed fishing, taking care of her family, cooking, and gardening. She later developed an interest in crocheting, puzzles, and playing cards with her family.

She is survived by her daughters, Linda Horsley, Cusseta, Sheryle (Gene) Hadaway, Valley; 9 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 20^th, 2019 at 2:00P.M. EST at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home chapel in Valley with interment following in Fairfax Cemetery. The Reverend Tim Bass officiating. Her family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6:00P.M. EST until 8:00P.M. EST.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made in Mrs. Campbell’s memory to the American Cancer Society.
