Mrs. Bobbie Jean Hand Striblin Obituary

Mrs. Bobbie Jean Hand Striblin, 72, a resident of Valley, AL passed away, Friday, October 18, 2019 at her residence. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 21, 2019 at 1:00 PM EST from Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home with Bro. Phillip Saylor officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery in Lanett, AL. Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 – 7:00 PM EST at the funeral home.

Mrs. Striblin is survived by her husband of almost 56 years, Ross W. Striblin; two children, Tim R. (Betty Jo) Striblin; & Teresa J. Cook; son-in-law, Jeff Saylor; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, John T. Hand & Stacie Smith Hand; and her brothers, Randal Hand & John Wayne Hand.

Mrs. Striblin was born in Troup County, GA on March 18, 1947 and worked for Looser’s Greenhouse in Lanett and at Plant World in Beauregard, AL. She was a loving wife and mother who loved her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
