Mr. Milfred L. Williams, age 94, of Valley, Alabama passed away on Sunday, October 13th, 2019 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama.
He was born in Chambers County, Alabama on June 16th, 1925 to the late David Homer Williams and Rosa Land Williams.
Mr. Williams was preceded in death by a son, Denny Williams; his first wife, June Hill Williams; his twin sister, Mildred Paschal; sister, Frances Shipman Williams.
He was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Valley.
Mr. Williams was a proud veteran of World War II, which he served with the United States Army. He had 20 years of service with the West Point Pepperell company, where he worked at the Service Center.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Williams, Opelika; children, Ronnie (JoAnn) Williams, Valley, Paula (Butch) Nichols, Valley, Bobby (Cindy) Williams, Opelika; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 5 great great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 16th, 2019 at 2:00P.M. EDT at the Emmanuel Baptist Church with interment following in Fairfax Cemetery. Dr. Darren White and the Reverend Ron Williams officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley Tuesday evening from 6:00P.M. EDT until 8:00P.M. EDT.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made in his memory to the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Valley.
