Mr. Michael May

Mr. Michael May, age 74, of Valley, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, July 3^rd, 2018 at St. Martin’s in the Pines Retirement Community in Birmingham, Alabama.

Mr. May was born on March 12^th, 1944 in Langdale, Alabama to the late Buck May and the late Bernice Gilmore Hill.  He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Margaret Brown, Elaine Moncus, and Jennifer Shoemake.

Mr. May attended Johnson Chapel Church. 

He was the co-owner and operator of WM Contractors specializing in HVAC until his retirement.

After retirement, he spent much of his time on the lake and rivers, where he enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by his daughter, Suzette May, Lanett; brother, Wayne May, Green Pond, Alabama; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 6^th, 2018 at 2:00P.M. EDT at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home chapel in Valley.  His family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00P.M. EDT until the service hour.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made in Michael’s name to a charity of your choice.
