John Edward Hartman

     Mr. John Edward Hartman, age 73, of Valley, Alabama passed away on Saturday, May 18th, 2019 at Bethany House in Auburn, Alabama. He was born on January 6th, 1946 in Langdale, Alabama to the late Edward L. and Vivian H. Hartman.

     Mr. Hartman is survived by his wife, Emma Jean Hartman; his seven children, John (Kim) Hartman, Wanda Hartman, Donnie Crowe, Michael Crowe, Jimmy Blaylock, Tammy Crowe, and Shelby Owens; his two sisters, Sara Hartman Bowers and Carolyn Hartman Dabbs; his ten grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

     Mr. Hartman attended Faith Evangelistic Church in Valley, Alabama. He enjoyed going to listen to gospel music and meeting people. He was a C.B. Radio enthusiast. He loved his family.

     Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 21st, 2019 at 11:00 AM (EST) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley, Alabama. Interment will follow in Resthaven Cemetery in Lanett, Alabama. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM (EST) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley.
