Joann Johnson Obituary

     Mrs. Joann Johnson, age 76 of Valley, AL passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, AL.

     Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband of 47 years, Edward Johnson; her three children, Jeffery Ogle, Cynthia (Eddie) Watson, and Rodney Ogle; her seven grandchildren, Steven (Alisha) Adamson, Brian (Jessica) Ogle, Tabitha Adamson, Eric Watson, Karen Schmear, Nikki (Joe) Blackstone, and Allie Ogle; eighteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; her three sisters, Glenda Heath, Janice McConnell, and Opal Tyson; her two brothers, Bobby Hutchinson and Donald Hutchinson.

     She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon Adamson; her son, Ricky Ogle; and four siblings, Ruth Browning, Jean Tingle, Buddy Hutchinson, and Leon Hutchinson.

     Mrs. Johnson was born on September 13, 1941 in Clay County, Alabama. She was a member of Three Pines Baptist Church in Lanett, AL. She enjoyed coloring and going shopping. She was the best mother and grandmother in the World, and was dearly loved by all.

     Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 16th, 2018 at 11:00 AM (EDT) at the Three Pines Baptist Church in Lanett with Brother Bill Heath and Brother Wayne Prickett officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM (EDT) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley.
