Jettie Elizabeth Moore

     Mrs. Jettie Elizabeth Moore, age 85, of Valley, AL passed away on Wednesday, October 3rd, 2018 at her residence.

     Mrs. Moore is survived by her three children, Rusty (Cathy) Moore, Chuck (Jill) Moore, and Lindy (Dennis) Parrish; her eight grandchildren, Harley (Melissa) Moore, Russell (Angel) Moore, Kathryn (Paul) Smith, Laura Adkins, Ben (Jessica) Moore, Jake (Charlet) Baker, Dan Baker, and Krysten (Travis) Walker/Burnham; her sixteen great grandchildren, Zoe, Gavin, Olivia, Lucy, Aiden, Austin, Connor, Sylvin, Emmett, Audry, Amelia, Lane, Taylor, Tannor, Bryce, and Laila.

     She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy H. Moore; her sister, Lala Williams; her two brothers, Henry Jones and Floyd Jones; and her brother-in-law, Jessie Williams.

     Mrs. Moore was born on January 8th, 1933 in Fairfax, AL. She was a member of the Fairfax Church of the Nazarene. She was an accomplished seamstress and an excellent singer. She loved her family, children, and animals. She was a very devoted and caring wife, mother, and grandmother who was fiercely protective of her family.

     Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 6th, 2018 at 11:00 AM (EDT) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley. Interment will follow in Resthaven Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM (EDT) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley.
