Mr. Henry “Wild Bill” Traughber, age 76, of Beauregard, AL passed away on Wednesday, July 4th, 2018 at the EAMC Lanier Hospital in Valley, AL. He was born on March 2nd, 1942 in Pine Castle, FL to the late LaFayette and Daisy Rollins Traughber.

Mr. Traughber is survived by his three step-children, Linda Sue Reyal of Dallas, TX, Mary Jo Sanders of Phenix City, AL, and Jay (Deanna) Hunt of Valley, AL; his thirteen step-grandchildren; his two sisters, Joyce (Charles) Milliron of Tuscon, AZ and Rosie Yates of Beauregard, AL; his sister in law, Dee VanWettering of Beauregard, AL; two nephews, Guy (Amanda) VanWettering and Tad (Jennifer) VanWettering; and many other nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Lee Joyce Traughber; and his step-son, Tod Mitchell Hunt.

Mr. Traughber was a one of a kind gentleman who had many friends. For many years he was a long haul truck driver. He enjoyed hotrods and car shows.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 21st, 2018 at 2:00P.M. CDT at the Providence Baptist Church, 2807 Lee Road 166, Opelika, Alabama 36804. His family will be receiving friends at the church on Saturday from 1:00P.M. CDT until the service hour.
