Mr. Tyre Douglas "Trey" Turner, Jr.

     Mr. Tyre Douglas “Trey” Turner, Jr., 45, of Lanett, AL passed away on Wednesday, April 11^th, 2018 at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, GA.  He was born on September 1^st, 1972 in Opelika, AL.

     Mr. Turner is survived by his wife, April Renee Turner; his three children, Dylan Lewis, Laci Colley, and Madison Colley; his mother, Teresa Aikens; his father, Tyre (Sandra) Turner; his step brother, Michael Cooper; his step sister, Kelly Cooper; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Tommy and Sara Gore.

     He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ruth Turner and Doug Turner; his aunt, Linda Coleman.

     Trey was a loving, kind hearted selfless husband, father, and son. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was always the one to make everyone laugh and smile with his sense of humor. Trey was the one at family dinners to make sure we all took a family photo. He was our personal camera man. He had a fatherly bond with his step daughters, Laci and Madison, from the beginning. He would do anything for anyone. His time here may have been cut short, but he will forever be our personal guardian angel. He will truly be missed by many, but will never be forgotten.

     Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 15^th, 2018 at 4:00 PM (EDT) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley with the Rev. Doug Blackmon officiating.  Interment will follow in Fairfax Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 3:00 PM (EST) until the service hour at the funeral home.
