Mr. Martis Winfred Danford Obituary

Mr. Martis Winfred Danford, 81, of Valley, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 13, 2018 at 3:00 PM EST from Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley. Burial will follow in Fairfax Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 – 8:00 PM EST at the funeral home.

Mr. Danford was born August 5, 1936 in Valley, Alabama where he lived all of his life with the exception of his time in the U. S. Air Force. He was a member of Word of Life Tabernacle for 50 years. He loved spending time with his family and watching Alabama football. He was married to the love of his life, Sandra Danford for 54 years. He loved his children and grandchildren with all of his heart.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Jo Danford, his two sons; Tony Danford and Terry Danford and daughters-in-law, Wendy Danford and Tela Danford; five grandchildren; Ryan, Shelbie, Lynnsey, Kylee and Kynlee Danford; and one great Aunt Kate Templeton.
